Survey results of primary research

Most of the people that took my survey happened to be betwen the ages of 16 to 24, this primarily because I posted the survey through facebook and most of my friends are of that age. It is also because it is of that generation that are involved most in buying music on a daily basis, whether it be on the internet or in store. I don't believe there is any significance in the fact more females took my survey, it was just who could be bothered at the time.

Matching the age group of the people that took my survey, there occupation is primarily student.
Music is clearly the favourite for downloading off the internet, ways to discover and listen to that music however varied. It is intersting to see that radio still is the most popular out of the internet websites.
These results are interseting, they show that our younger generation still have a social conscience on downloading music illegally. Although still a large chunk (8) of the 23 people taking survey do download music through illegal websites.

Its seems that the overall expense of paying for music stands in the way of people getting music legally, and its covenience triumphs over paying for music. Results show most people would reconsider illegal downloading if more severe penalties threatened there freedom use such websites.
